We find ourselves in a distant place,
Where no man's been before.
A place so far away from Earth,
The land of Mars is what it's called.
We stand in awe of its barren lands,
Its orange and red horizon.
We marvel at the unknown terrain,
As we step foot on its soil.
The first men on Mars,
Exploring a new land.
A quest to discover and explore,
The secrets of a distant planet.
The terrain is harsh,
Though the view is grand.
A journey of discovery,
To a place never seen before.
We may never know,
What lies beneath the sand.
But we will continue to explore,
The mysteries of Mars.
